“Lava Flow”

Nature Imagined.

My eyes sting like onions, as the gurgling glowing liquid flows before me. Rock, hot as the sun, forms a raging river through the cracks and crevices ever pushing its way to the surface. I choke back the urge to cough, as a heavy gaseous vapor floats through the air. The mythic center of the earth emerges as the molten lava flows. The beautiful glowing light cascades down the landscape blackening slightly as it cools. A fresh wave overtakes it, melting and widening the dam. Future frolicking fields are born from the depths. May these explosive rivers of the deep never cease.
